Platinum is an advanced Grayscale design. User Interface (UI) items appear to be engraved into windows, dialogs, alerts, etc.
To use Platinum, you must first get Kaleidoscope (which is available at <http://www.kaleidoscope.net/>). After installing Kaleidoscope, simply drag the Platinum scheme into your Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder ( which is hidding in your Extensions folder, which is in your System Folder, at the root level of your start up disk). After placing it in the Color Scheme folder, open the Kaleidoscope control panel (available in the Control Panels folder, which is in the System Folder). Scroll down in the list of schemes until you see Platinum. Click on the Platinum icon or name. Close the control panel and enjoy.
Platinum is not free, it is $4 shareware. I spent a bit of time on Platinum, and think that $4 is well worth it. To register, launch the inluded 'Register' program. And please let me know where you got this package, expecially if it does not have the register program.
